The reason we created this online home for the Same Family, Different Colors project is because we wanted to continue the conversation we started with the book. Colorism isn’t going to disappear because of one book and it’s not going to go away because we launched a website. But we’re pretty confident that if the conversation continues, online and IRL (in real life), then we’ll eventually make it to the day when we speak of colorism in the past tense.
